LOUIE’S BAR
HOURS
TUESDAY – THURSDAY 3pm to 10pm
FRIDAY & SATURDAY 11am to 11pm
Louie’s Bar is just off of and three steps down from the bistro’s main dining room, and there is a strong old school feel to this recent addition to the Gaithersburg/Germantown bar scene.
Look past the open-kitchen and enter into Germantown’s newest upscale casual ‘gastro bar’. Louie’s Bar is a cozy little second guest area within Laperaux, The Journeymanchef’s Bistro, and offers a scene completely different than the dining room or either of the two outdoor patios. Seating 35 or so, Louie’s is a thing altogether onto itself.
Soft lighting, wooden sideboards and hand troweled walls, mirrors and French themed décor give Louie’s Bar a pleasant, relaxed feel; it’s the perfect spot to step away from the little commotions of our everyday lives, it’s the ideal place to enjoy a nice Kir Royale and take a refreshing and well-earned break to your day.
Experienced bar staff is ready to prepare a well curated list of house specialty cocktails, serve cold Belgian beer, or pour a glass of fine French wine.
One glance at the Signature Cocktails list, or a review of the progressive wine menu’s full variety of regional French vintages, and you already have enough reason to look for this gem of a bar.
Louie’s Bar, located within Laperaux, The Journeymanchef’s French Bistro is a new ‘must go to’ in Germantown, and it’s ready and waiting for your next visit.
